By Car....
...just 1 hour from Oban via the A816 through Lochgilphead, and 2.5 hours from Glasgow via the A83 by scenic Loch Lomond and Inveraray, the Columba Hotel is easily found. Down the A83 from Lochgilphead, proceed into the village of Tarbert, and on the southshore of the harbour,turn left along the row of small shops, and continue for 1/2 mile where we stand at the waters edge, with our own car parking and fine views over Loch Fyne.If you arrive via the convenient ferry from Portavadie in Cowal, at the head of the slipway, turn left and you will find us just 200 yards away.
